Twenty-five young civil servants from all corners of Bosnia and Herzegovina will attend online training in European integrations for the next two months, covering topics such as “Understanding EU dynamics”, “BiH and the politics of expansion”, “Managing change for better efficiency of public service” and “From forming politics to evaluation.” Lectures will be led by the prestigious College of Europe institute in Bruges.
Introductory lectures on the project “EU Program for Young Civil Servants in BiH” which provides professional development for civil servants in the process of EU integration, were held in Sarajevo on October 22 and 23. The project is financed by the European Union and implemented by British Council in BiH. The Program is dedicated to improving public administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina through building a professional and depoliticized civil service based on expertise and skills. It aims to empower young civil servants in charge of the EU accession process who will bring change during the enlargement process.
A one-week mobility program within the Western Balkans and a two-week exchange within BiH will allow candidates to spend time in a public administration institution at a different level from the one they are working on in order to share good practice, connect and provide professional development.
