The second cycle of the “EU Scheme for Young Professionals” began with a kick-off meeting, which was held in Sarajevo over the 4th and the 5th of October, 2021.
As part of the programme funded by the European Union and implemented by the British Council in BiH, 25 selected civil servants from the entire country have been acquainted with the programme, and with each other, during the initial two days of their training.
Statements from the participants of the programme, Goran Karanović and Lejla Spahić, and the organisers, Nicolas Bizel, Head of Operations Section I (Justice and Home Affairs, Public Administration Reform) of the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Amila Lagumdžija, Project Director on behalf of the British Council, are available at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXgVwKPF9xs
The participants continued their training programme, which is aimed at acquiring skills and knowledge about the EU integration process, during two five-days-long executive training cycles in Mostar and Banja Luka. The training was conducted by the renowned school for public administration and training of civil servants, Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) from France.
You may check the photos to see the atmosphere at the training. We shall have the opportunity to see the knowledge and skills acquired at both trainings at a final conference marking the end of the project, when written public policy proposals will be presented by all of the participants.
